After stabbing his father to death, a son commits suicide by chopping off his head using a chainsaw. A tool not for the squeamish, that's for certain. It's effective for quick death though. I imagine this is a better option than using an axe or a knife.
I was watching tv last night when tuned into the news. Did anybody else also hear or read about what happened to a number of Japanese after they watched Babel? The news said that quite a number of people got physically ill after seeing the movie, the disco scene in particular. If you haven't seen the movie, the disco scene was shot with a lot of strobe lights. Japanese authorities think that the strobes caused the illness. I'm just wondering why this only happened to the Japanese. A lot of people have seen the film and there were no reports of seizures due to that scene. I find it so weird and now I'm thinking that maybe there's something in their brains which gets so easily stimulated by strobe effects because this also happened to some Japanese kids when they watched Pokemon if I remember it correctly. Just something to ponder on.
A British man has met and married a woman after supposedly dreaming of her phone number.
David Brown, 24, said he texted the woman's number and asked, "Did I meet you last night?" after waking up one morning with a telephone number running through his head.
Here's something gross. A 22-year old woman has a nipple on her left foot. Ferrr realz! The condition is called Pseudomamma and it's documented in Dermatology Online Journal.
Your text goes hereA 22-year-old woman sought medical care for a lesion in the plantar region of her left foot, a well-formed nipple surrounded by areola and hair. Microscopic examination of the dermis showed hair follicles, eccrine glands, and sebaceous glands. Fat tissue was noted at the base of the lesion. Clinical and histopathologic findings were consistent with the diagnosis of supernumerary breast tissue, also known as pseudomamma. To our knowledge, this is the first report of supernumerary breast tissue on the foot.
Nike just unveiled skin tight basketball uniforms and they started with 4 teams from prestigious schools. I don't really understand what their intention is but I'm guessing that making the players wear the new uniforms will draw more female spectators.
A 17-foot-tall Viking statue along the shores of Seattle is standing his ground. Workers drilled, pounded, and pulled for 8 hours but the statue just wouldn't budge. The workers were supposed to transfer the another plaza in time for a celebration. The celebration pushed through the next day but the old Viking Leif Erikson snubbed the event
A group of vegans are offering free lodging for any woman who could provide them with free breast milk because they read about its nutritional benefits. Uhh gross! The ad which was posted on craigslist stated that the group doesn't care about the appearance and the sexual preference of the living milk bar. It also warned that only the room is free, food not included.
Fetish restaurants are starting to sprout in Japan, particularly in Shibuya District. The latest is Shomuni, a restaurant-bar patterned after a manga and a tv series about office ladies (I've seen the series and I loved it!). Customers, often geeks who get off on submissive girls, can request the "office ladies" to strip tease, change into cosplay costumes, feed them, or serve in their underwear for a small fee. The trend is becoming controversial because it's sexual and, some opine, it's demeaning to women. Personally, I love the idea. I especially love the gothic lolita restaurants there. Any excuse to prance around in a costume is good methinks. Feminists all over just gave me a unified frown.
A male lynx has surprised animal keepers in Zhengzhou Zoo by refusing to mate with a female lynx.
Instead, the lynx has been seen attracting the attention of a leopard in the next-door pen. The male lynx is frequently seen petting and playing with the leopard even though they are separated by a fence, and whenever the female lynx approaches he drives it away.
