Christmas (Krismas is what I call it) is not a holiday in Japan since most of the population are either Buddhists or Shinto. However, they still celebrate the day in a very unusual way. They have a KFC dinner because they believe that Westerners celebrate it that way. Blame it on the marketing campaign of KFC there. KFC's head honchos in America must be laughing while the Yen keeps on flowing in.
