Hitler's Moustache Wasn't A Personal Preference

May 9th 2007 18:31
A new Adolf Hitler biographer has written that Hitler's moustache style wasn't the guy's choice. He had to do sport it in order to fit into a gas mask in case of British mustard gas attacks.

In a hitherto unpublished essay, Frey, who died in 1957, wrote of his first meeting with Hitler in 1915: “A pale, tall man tumbled down into the cellar after the first shells of the daily evening attacks had begun to fall, fear and rage glowing in his eyes.

“At that time he looked tall because he was so thin. A full moustache, which had to be trimmed later because of the new gas masks, covered the ugly slit of his mouth.e

You'd think that a man in charge of a country would be in charge of his own facial hair...

Dementia ...

I've always held Hitler responsible for modern women manicuring their pubic hair.

The Neo-Nazi Trimmed Pussy Movement (a.k.a. The Brown G-Strings) was doing alright until some Brazilian Dictator came along, and people misunderstood when he said, 'Off with their heads. The lot of them.' *

Did anyone not read the faux pas for gas masks that year? Big mustaches. tsk tsk. Hard to imagine Hitler with a handlebar mustache or goatee though...

I know! And why wear a moustache to begin with? He could always go facial hair free. I think he's a fan of Chaplin.

The last part of article is poorly typed, I can't tell wether it has been cut off or that "e" is a period.
