You might have read about it already but it appears that Anna Nicole Smith planned her burial attire.

"We want to show respect and dignity to the body of Ms. Smith," said Seidlin. "Beauty was important to her. She wants to look beautiful and we want to make sure that occurs."

I think she made this smart decision during a brief moment when she wasn't drugged up. We should do the same though. I wouldn't want somebody with a bad fashion sense choosing what I'll wear for eternity...or until I rot. We should also decide ahead who would do our make up and how we really want to look. I've seen to many awful funeral make ups and it's the creepiest part during a funeral.

Lohan Buys Marilyn Monroe's Apartment

February 12th 2007 06:38
Lindsay Lohan has purchased Marilyn Monroe’s 2-bedroom West Hollywood El Palacio Apartment which isnt the house she died in but lived in during the 1950’s. Lindsay recently sold her condo after never setting foot in and living at the Chateau Marmont long enough to rack up a $431,000 bill.
The El Palacio has a pretty morbid history as 23-year-old heiress Georgette Bauerdorf was found strangled and found facedown in her bath in 1944 and in 1965 Dorothy Dandridge committed suicide there by overdosing on barbituates.

With the death of Anna Nicole Smith, does anyone see the irony in this?

They're both bimbos. Let's just wait for Lohan to O.D.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Tabloid darling Anna Nicole Smith attracted even more publicity after her sudden death on Thursday. And now, so may the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - one of her favorite hangouts in South Florida.

Though time will tell whether the Seminole Hard Rock or Room 607, where Smith stayed, become macabre tourist attractions, public relations specialist Virginia Sheridan said the venue now has a higher profile given the amount of news coverage, television footage and photographs taken of the site.

"At the end of day, more people know that there is a Seminole Hard Rock in Fort Lauderdale than ever before," said Sheridan, president of M. Silver & Associates, who handles public relations for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. "More people know, from what they saw, that it's a very attractive place; attractive enough to attract a pretty high-profile celebrity with a lot of money who could stay anywhere."

Some hotels have gained notoriety because of celebrity deaths there, such as the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Calif., where John Belushi died in 1982, and the Chelsea Hotel in New York City, where Sex Pistols singer Sid Vicious allegedly fatally stabbed his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen, in 1978.

Such high-profile history doesn't appear in official advertising literature or hotel Web sites, but it does create a certain appeal for celebrity watchers and tourists. The Chateau Marmont, for example, can be found on a list for "celebrity death sites" on the popular TripAdvisor Web site.

Michael Tavani with Nadine Johnson & Associates Inc. in New York City, who handles public relations for the Chateau Marmont, declined to comment on that side of the hotel's appeal.

For now, Smith's death has not noticeably affected business at the Seminole Hard Rock, where scheduled events continue, gamblers keep betting and hotel guests move around and about. Many public relations executives believe more guests will be drawn to the venue because the media attention has solidified its reputation as a place for celebrities.

"Hard Rock did not do anything. (Smith) happened to be staying there, and the fallout will be a positive one for Hard Rock," said Len Saffir, who runs Leonard Saffir & Associates Public Relations in Lake Worth. "That's going to last longer, I believe, than her story."

Seminole Hard Rock staff say they're handling the situation one day at a time, with no word on what will happen to Smith's room after police leave.

"This is so new that not all decisions have been made," said Gary Bitner, Seminole Hard Rock spokesman. "We're still waiting for the story to evolve."

Morrissey Picks Burial Spot

February 9th 2007 08:12
Oh this one is good.

Singer Morrissey is known for being a bit morbid, so it's no surprise that he already knows where he wants to be buried.

The 48-year-old star wants a spot at the celebrity cemetery Hollywood Forever, near his home in Los Angeles, the Daily Express reports.

And not just that, but the former Smiths frontman also wants to be laid to rest near his music idol Johnny Ramone.

"I like that cemetery. I stumbled across Johnny Ramone's stone and thought it was very nicely placed," he is quoted as saying.

"I sat there for a long time and I felt quite good about it. It was nice his bones were under the soil I was sitting on. So yeah, that's my spot.

"I am considering putting money down to reserve a spot there. Death is a serious thing, certainly not to be sneezed at," he added.

And as for the inscription?

"I want nothing other than name, birth date, death date. I did think of having the words 'Home at last' but Bela Lugosi has already used that," he said.

Hollywood Cemetery? How tacky but so Morrissey. It's a really good idea to pick burial spots though. I want to be cremated but just as a back-up, in case relatives fucks things up, I'm going to pick my burial spot soon. It might be next to your house. Feh.

Anna Nicole Smith's Death

February 9th 2007 03:30
I tried posting here yesterday but something's wrong with Orble. Bleh. Anyway, just found out Anna Nicole Smith is dead. Too much Trimspa perhaps? Seriously, it's too much drugs. That girl seemed high 24/7. It's no wonder she's dead. There are conspiracy theories out there like her boyfriend-lawyer Howard K. Stern was keeping her drugged and killed her for her money. I don't believe that. I think she just wanted to do a Marilyn Monroe. Kinda tragic though.

Pete Burns Even More Hideous

January 26th 2007 05:41
Le Freak
British singer Pete Burns has sued a London plastic surgeon, claiming a lip augmentation procedure left him looking "physically repulsive."

In his claim alleging negligence by Mauizio Viel, the Dead or Alive vocalist said side effects from the augmentation treatment included swelling, blisters, a heavy discharge and the inability to eat, drink or talk, Sky News said Thursday. The suit was filed in London.
